The newly refurbished GO Outdoors store in Blackburn is now open for business, after brand ambassador and Strictly star Helen Skelton hosted a Grand Opening Event on Saturday 4th March 2023.

On the day of the event, which we were invited to attend, the Go Outdoors team handed out 200 x £20 gift vouchers and 100 x goodie bags worth £25 to the first groups to arrive, as well as other raffle giveaways on the day.

Outdoor enthusiast and celebrity ambassador Helen also handed over a cheque to a representative from Mind for all the proceeds raised during a hugely successful GO Outdoors charity fundraising campaign ‘#HatsOnForMind’.

The campaign saw celebrity ambassadors Sean Fletcher, David Seaman and Julia Bradbury join Helen in designing a range of Mind branded bobble and beanie hats, available to buy from GO Outdoors stores this season. All profits will be going to Mind and the company has pledged to donate a minimum of £100,000 to the charity.
